If you are carrying multiple phones and you wish to get rid of the inconvenience, you can port those numbers to FONESTAK. Similarly so, if you have a landline you wish to get rid of but want to retain the phone number and incorporate it into your Smartphone, you can port that number to FONESTAK. The process is relatively simple, but
involves several important steps.It is simple to switch your existing phone number to Boomcast. Bring along your existing number for any of our Boomcast services including Pro, Biz, Personal and Fax. Your customers, colleagues and friends will be able to get in touch with you at the same number, now you will be able to manage all your messages from a single place.
Instructions to Transfer a Local Telephone Number to FONESTAK
You must sign up for FONESTAK service in order to port your number to us. FONESTAK will provide you with a temporary number so that you can have an account. In order to begin the process you will need a copy of your existing telephone bill.

After you complete your online request, we will need to send you an LOA (letter of Agency), that you must fill out and return to us at [email protected]
Once FONESTAK receives your complete documentation, we will send it to our telephone carrier to start the process of moving your existing phone number(s) to our network.
- Please be aware that some numbers may not be available for transferring service. This depends on the number that you have and who you got it from initially.
- Porting can be accomplished very quickly, but it can also take up to 15 days depending on many variables. During this time, you cannot submit an order to your current telephone number provider to disconnect.
- Your existing number will continue to be in service while your number is in the porting process. You may want to call forward your existing number to your temporary FONESTAK Number so everyone can still stay in touch with you and you can start using the service.
- We will let keep you up to date on the status of your order. Once your number has been received by FONESTAK, we will disconnect your temporary number with FONESTAK and replace it with your existing number.
- After your number is with FONESTAK be sure to disconnect all your services associated with the number at your former carrier.
