Do I need a phone number to use the service?
You only need a live phone number to be able to answer calls using the Find Me/Follow Me service or to reply to a call – this makes me think of basic service, VoiP.
Do I need any software to use your service?
There is no software needed to use the service except you will need to download some applications for our mobile services on to your smartphone.
Can I make International calls with my service?

What is an Auto-attendant?
An Auto-attendant is a voice enabled menu that allows callers to be transferred to an extension without going through a live telephone operator or receptionist. For a caller to find a user on a phone system, a dial-by-name directory is usually available. This feature lists users by name, allowing the caller to press a key to automatically ring the extension of a user once his/her extension is announced by the auto attendant. If a user is not available, the auto-attendant typically routes the caller to the voice mailbox of the user to leave a message.

What is Find Me/Following?
A feature of our service where your callers can locate you by calling up to 5 different phone numbers to reach you. These typically include your mobile, office and home numbers. You have the choice of determining the order of the phone numbers you designate and the calls will be routed sequentially or you can have the 5 numbers ring simultaneously.
What is a SIP Client?
SIP client is software that is resides on a computer or mobile device and allows that looks like a telephone dialpad and allows you the ability to make and receive phone calls.
What is an IP PBX or hosted PBX?
IP PBX or hosted PBX is business telephone system designed to deliver voice conversations or video over a data network and interoperate with the traditional public telephone network, providing all the features of a PBX including, call forwarding, call hunting and call park. Users can either answer and place calls using a SIP phone or SIP client.
What is VoIP?
Voice over IP (VoIP) refers to the transmission of voice conversations over an internet-based networks. Internet Protocol (IP) was originally designed for data networking and has been adapted to voice networking. How do I setup my greeting?
In order to set up you greeting, system will prompt you initially to set up a personal greeting with you own voice. Additionally, you can upload a greeting through the Manage My Service section of the website.
How do I setup my company extensions?
You can set up your company’s extensions with one of our Customer Care agents after you order the service.
Can I track my calls and usage?
Information about your calls will be updated daily in the Account Activity section with the Manage My Account website.
How do I listen to my voicemail?
There are several ways to listen to your voicemails. If you are having them forwarded to you as an email attachment, you need to have a player that allows you to listen to .wav files. This player can be on your computer or mobile device. You can also, dial your Fonestak number, enter your PIN and follow to the
Can I send a fax from my email account?
Sure, make sure the email account you are sending the fax from is registered in the “Manage My Service” section when you log into the website. Then add the fax machine number in the following format in the “To” field as “[email protected], If faxing internationally, replace the 1 at the front with the appropriate country code.
What greeting do my callers hear?
You can create a personal greeting for callers to hear when they call your Fonestak number or they will hear the system greeting.
Can I transfer my fax number over to Fonestak?

How long are my faxes stored?
Faxes are saved up to 30 days. If you need to keep one longer download it to your computer or smartphone.

Can I receive faxes on my number?

The voicemail greeting is set to 1 minute.
How do I retrieve my voice and fax messages?
You can retrieve your messages through your telephone or online through your Fonestak Desk in the mailbox section.
Can I make International calls?
Yes, you have the ability to make international calls.
Can I get a paper copy of my call records?
You can view and download your call records for the current month and three previous months directly from your secure area of the Manage My Account section of our website. In order to keep our rates competitive, we currently do not provide paper call records. If you need a copy of your call records for any month prior to what is posted, we can send you a paper copy for a service fee.
Can I receive a paper invoice?
In order to keep our rates competitive and do our part in reducing paper consumption, your invoice will be available online for you to review and print.
What charge will appear on my credit card?
The charge will appear on your credit card as Fonestak, Inc.
When will I be charged?
You will be charged monthly on your credit card around the 1st. You will be billed for services in advance.
How are minutes used and how much do they cost?
